A dozen second graders practiced butterfly breathing alongside state education officials at John Clem Elementary on Tuesday. During a visit to the Newark City Schools elementary school, Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria and Ohio Board of Education member Stephanie Dodd met with school officials to learn about how they've incorporated social-emotional practices into their students' school day.
